B's Future Career? Maybe...

B got his very own size hockey gear for Christmas. He was excited, because now he can fall and not get hurt when he is learning how to skate.

He's trying out the concept of falling and it not hurting....
Clay taught him...."Hockey Stance"

Hey....the bag is put to many uses...

B even fits along with his gear!

We had a BUSY BUSY Holiday...in case you didn't hear...

We had an extremely busy holiday.  Gramma Raine was out from Australia and B's birthday always is to start of the break.  This year we had both families over on Christmas Eve my parents and then on Christmas Day both sides of the family.  The boys got so much stuff I had to re-organize both of their rooms!
B got a cement truck lego set from Papa Ken and M-a D.  He and Clay put it together.
My x-box gamers...Clay got Guitar Hero II for Christmas and the boys love to watch....
The gingerbread house is to big to fit in our mouths!!!  Gramma and B made this together:
Clay's family opening gifts:

Ry's OWN computer....maybe he won't want Mommy and Daddy's so much (fat chance!)

Ry helping to "decorate" the tree:

Happy 4th Birthday B! (I have a 4 year old who will go to kindergarten in September! AH!)
Posers in front of the tree...yearly tradition:
B's new Grandma's work sweatshirt, just like T and Opa!
Ry's new toy...he LOVES to dance....the toy is pretty fun, but the bear that dances is really loud

Grownin' Up!

Ry is finally growing teeth!  Here you can see the top few teeth coming in.  (--now of course he has 4 front top teeth and two top molars are cutting in ....not fun times.  :()  What a goofball as Brayden would say!

Kim came over for fun pregnancy photos (I will post some on our company blog soon: http://www.customconcepts.blogspot.com/ ) and she cut Ry's hair. He had just woken up from a nap and was rather hungry. We sooothed him with a soother to start, but then decided to give him a snack while getting it cut to ease his hunger, but also keep him from not thinking about what was happening so he wouldn't move around so much. Welllllll, not such a good idea since there was hair everywhere and he kept sticking out his tongue for me to get the hair out of his mouth or trying to wipe it with his hair ridden hand! Also not such a good idea for me to wear a ribbed sweater.... Now he looks like such a toddler and not a baby.  No more baby hockey hair!
Before...

During....
After...

B's Christmas "Party"

B had his first Christmas "concert" ever, at school.  Luckily Gramma Raine and Clay were able to go to get it on video tape for mom as it was during the day and I had to work :(.  B had to sing a few songs with actions as pictured above.

Here is the present B made for us...brownies!  YUM!

Here is Gramma Raine helping B cut out his hands for his reindeer below.

Here is the principal giving B his Birthday ribbon as it was the last day before Christmas break. He got to pick a prize from the principal too!

Spirit of Christmas at TWU

Last year we started another tradition of going to the "Spirit of Christmas" at Grandma's work (TWU). They have a 'live' story of Christmas with a full on nativity and petting zoo. B loves the animals and Ry got so excited (even though he doesn't really look it)! They also have popcorn, oranges, a kids craft area and live music. It just so happens that this year it snowed, so it really felt like Christmas.

Ledgeview Tradition

We love going to pick out our Christmas tree at Ledgeview down the street posing with the trees. We picked the first tree we found and the pic shows how interested the boys were in the tree. (Eventually when the boys get bigger we will go out into the farm field and cut down our own tree). They were really interested in the cookies and hot chocolate--Ry's loved his first chocolate chip cookie!

Christmas Party

Clay's company Christmas party was in Coquitlam at Westwood Plateau. Amazing food, cool free stuff and fancy times. (I bought a new dress and heels....:)
