Big Brown Eyes

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a picture of Rylan that shows off his big browns. When he smiles in every other picture...he squints his eyes!

Arrrr ... Shiver Me Timbers!

Happy 3 1/2 birthday Brayden! Since B's birthday is in December, we decided to celebrate his half birthday with his friends since December is so busy. He decided he wanted to have a pirate party---full on costumes, pirate ship cake, pirate packs for dinner, and treasure hunt included--ending with water gun fight! Fun! Thanks for all who participated and sorry we missed some of you! Until next June! Arrrrr!

Eddy Jr. ...Finally

Shelley, Eddy and Natasha finally have a new addition to the family...Edward! It's been a long 10 months and baby Eddy joined the family early June 19th via emergency c-section--at a whopping 9 pounds--beats Natasha by 2 pounds! Mom and baby are doing great! Here are a few pics of our visit. B was very antsy and wanted to visit everyone in the ward (...it wasn't long ago that he went to the hospital to visit Rylan). Congratulations! May Eddy bring you God's blessings!

Peek-a-Boo!

Rylan now plays peek-a-boo. You put the cloth on his head and say, "Where's Rylan?" He will pull off the cloth all by himself! Silly guy!

The Next Bill Gates

Rylan LOVES the computer. He gets so excited when I open it and immediately wants to type and look at the screen. Look out Microsoft! The next computer geek in training:)

Brayden's Hot Wheels Bike

Brayden is getting to be such a big boy. Last week he picked out his new two wheeler. He calls it his "Hot Wheels Bike". Like his father, he catches on to anything athletic in a blink of an eye, so he already rides it like a pro. He loves to go for a bike ride and race dad at the basketball court. He also rides back and forth in our back alley. Great work B! (Today he was even going over jumps...we'll post those pics soon!)

Gardeners? Maybe Sprouting a Little Green Thumb?!

Clay and I have been working hard to make the front garden and lawn look good. (It is this spring's project...next year maybe we'll conquer the back yard...we'll see!) We bought bricks to edge the garden which Clay put in. It sure weighted down the Volvo on the way home from the store! Also, a couple weeks ago my father-in-law came by with a "bucket of dirt" and unloaded it onto our front lawn. Since Clay had hurt his backthat day, I shovelled the dirt into the gardens and re-arranged some of the plants. (I sure was sore!). I have planted dahalia bulbs and sunflowers which have now sprouted ...impressive! As well, we bought spruce trees to spruce up the front door--to fill the ginormous pots that I got for Christmas. I am very pleased with the way it now looks! (I should've had a before picture...oops!)

So we add a girl to the mix!

Brayden and Rylan have a new cousin, Abby Lynn. She was born a couple weeks ago on Papa Ken's birthday, June 6. She has the cutest cheeks and is so good natured! We are so happy to have a little girl to add to our extended family...! Congrats Matt, Jenn and Sam!

Goin' to School

The last week Natasha was here, Brayden and Natasha filled up their backpacks with toys and said, "We're going to school!" They would proceed to open the contents under the kitchen table and "play school". What grand imaginations!

Brayden is Superman's Son

Brayden likes to do his own hair. He goes into the bathroom and wets his hair. He pushes it over and says, " Look Mom! I'm the boy from Superman!" He makes a silly face because lately he has taken to not wanting his picture taken.

Ry's Jumping Exosaucer

Rylan loves jumping and playing in his exosaucer. He has started to drop toys on the floor and peer over the edge to look where they went. He also loves sucking on the antennae and fan. Anything to ease his teething gums. Here are a few shots of his fun!

Ry and Grandma

Num Num Nums! Ry loves being nibbled...he laughs so hard!

Annual May Day Parade!

It was another May Day Parade in the good ol' Fort. B loved running for candy and Rylan cried when the fire trucks and police cars put on their sirens. Grandma and Opa took lots of pics. The Fasts, Theissens and Locke's joined us---boys, boys, boys everywhere---poor Natasha!

Brayden--The Biker Dude

So Brayden has taken to putting on his helmet and saying, "Mom, I want to go ride my bike on the sidewalk!" He coasts down the hill, then struggles to ride back up...sometimes he's had enough and gets off his bike then walks back up the hill. The other photos are of a really cool bike Clay was photographing...very cool!

New Monster Truck Matching Jammammas

Thanks Grandama Marlys for our matching new monster truck jammmammas!
(p.s. I am holding Rylan in the last picture (Clay's fancy Photoshop skills),
but he is pretty sturdy on his own!)

Got milk?

I was playing with a different lens and B was having some fun with his milk...milk moustache.... and giving don-key something to drink too.
