Devin Greenhouses

A couple Saturdays back we went to get some more plants at the Greenhouse--a lot of selection and for someone who knows nothing about plants, a little overwhelming. Brayden had fun "running through the tulips"!

I'm a "Big Kid" Now!

While we were at Auntie Jenn's house to get a haircut for Brayden, Rylan was having a blast playing! Sam loved to touch the top of his head and feel his hair! He loved to move the Little People around the school bus. It was so weird as he was actually playing like a "big kid". Wow...seven months goes by so fast!

Liz's Ocean

A few weeks back, we went into Vancouver for an audition for Brayden. We decided to go to "Auntie Liz's" house because she had just moved into her apartment a few blocks from English Bay. Brayden was so excited when he saw the water, he asked Liz to go to "her ocean". I was also playing around with her new Nikon cool pix camera (so was she), so here are a few shots.

Skater Boy?

When the weather was starting to get warm a few weeks back, Clay took Brayden out into the back alley to learn how to skateboard. He had a lot of fun watching Clay and riding with him as well as practicing pushing off. It won't be too long before Brayden is skatin' with the other Vintage boys down at the skate park!

So I realized (after a subtle reminder) that I didn't post any pics of Oliver from Oscar's b-day party...so these are for you Sharon! ;) I actually caught him smiling and he had so much fun playing in the mirror...

I was in desperate need to get a new haircut/hairstyle! Finally, (after a few postponements) I got it done. Thanks Shelley...I LoVE iT! These are for you!

Brayden the Ringbearer

Sunday the 20th of May was a grand occaision...Brayden's first wedding! We weren't sure if he would run down the aisle or be too shy and clam up...but he did great! He walked really slowly and stood at the front waiting for his big role. When they asked for the rings, B walked up and waited while Mel and Chris each put them on. He even got to sign the registry B-R-A-Y-D-E-N! How handsome he looked in his tux!

Rylan's Dedication

Rylan was dedicated at church last Sunday. He was very noisy and loved talking to Brian! We are totally blessed by our son! Sorry to those who couldn't make it as it was on Mother's Day!

Final Goodbye BBQ:(

So this gathering to say official goodbye to Kathy, Nathan and Oscar was filled with kids, kids, kids, cats and yummy food. Brayden and Caleb were wrestling in the living room...DInG DonG! Then for the rest of the evening, they played with lego and Nathan's big kids toys. Brenna and Rylan were sucking on everything in sight and drooling ...drooling ... drooling. Halle was awake in the beginning and then fell asleep in Jesse's then in my arms...what a sweetheart! Oscar was very happy because Nathan was singing to him! Richard Parker the beautiful cat...just lounged around and looked on! We will miss you all. God bless you in Manitoba!

FLEFC Mom's Group

Every Thursday we get together with a few other moms at Fort Langley Evangelical Free Church--Jessica, Cyndi and Becky and a lot of other kids to play and discuss the book: "His Needs Her Needs for Parents". FLEFC is my childhood church --I have known Becky since I was 4 years old, so it is very special to get together with our kids! Jessica--I think I have known her 8 years --before we were both married! Cyndi I met in university! This Thursday we decided since it was such a nice day we would go to the park. Rylan went down the slide "like a big boy" for the first time! Kiara was quite the model... I had to pick through a few photos!
